NATIONS CUP
A saga of speed, precision, and heartbreak.

THE NATIONS CUP: A BATTLE FOR SKI RACING SUPREMACY
The roar of the crowd may have been virtual, but the stakes were as real as they get. The Nations Cup brought together the finest digital ski racers into six national teams: Team Austria, Team Switzerland, Team Germany, Team France, Team Italy and the European Allstars Team. Each team member was determined to carve their name into Ski Challenge history. Over four legendary tracks—Wengen, Kitzbühel, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Saalbach-Hinterglemm—the competition unfolded in a saga of speed, precision, and heartbreak.
WENGEN: A SWISS STATEMENT
The competition kicked off on the storied slopes of Wengen, where the Swiss contingent wasted no time making their presence felt. Lukas_F of Team Austria stormed down the course with an impeccable run, setting a blistering time of 2:19.902. However, hot on his heels was the Swiss ace JohnJulian, finishing just a fraction behind at 2:20.005. It was a sign of things to come—Switzerland was here to dominate. Daaave4 from Austria rounded out the podium, but the battle lines had been drawn.
Further down the rankings, a fierce struggle for valuable points unfolded. Italy’s Freccia Blu and Bovas88 found themselves in the mix, while Germany’s Fabo743 and Switzerland’s Swagmaster13 put in respectable performances. France’s hopes rested on Bastiou64 and Bubble37, who fought valiantly to keep their team in the hunt.
But one thing was clear—Austria and Switzerland were setting the tone early.
KITZBÜHEL: AUSTRIAN EXCELLENCE
If Wengen belonged to the Swiss, Kitzbühel was an Austrian fortress. On the notorious Hahnenkamm course, where legends are made or broken, Daaave4 delivered an absolute masterclass, clocking in at 1:47.006 to claim victory for Austria. Amche from the European Allstars Team (EUA) followed closely, proving that the multinational team was not to be underestimated.
Austrian racer Hermaaaaan secured third, making it a powerful showing for the ski-racing powerhouse. Meanwhile, Germany’s Wammerl and EUA’s Pepikum20 fought tooth and nail for a top-five finish. Switzerland’s JohnJulian, so strong in Wengen, had a slightly tougher time here, only managing 12th place. The battle for overall supremacy was heating up, with Austria looking to take control.
GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN: THE SWISS RECLAIM
THEIR GLORY
With Austria on a high after Kitzbühel, Switzerland needed a response. And they got it—courtesy of JohnJulian. The Swiss speedster delivered an excellent performance, tearing through the Garmisch course in 1:59.537 and taking a well-deserved victory. It was a show of resilience, proving that Wengen was no fluke.
Behind him, European Allstar’s Pepikum20 continued to impress, finishing second, while Austria’s Fighter1908 rounded out the podium. The overall leaderboard remained tight, with Switzerland and Austria going head-to-head in nearly every race. But lurking just behind was the Allstar squad—consistent, fast, and always in the mix.
The track proved difficult for many, with multiple racers missing gates or failing to finish clean runs. Every point mattered, and those who faltered would see their Nations Cup dreams slipping away.
SAALBACH-HINTERGLEMM: A GERMAN TRIUMPH AND
A GRAND FINALE
With the final race upon us, the championship was still wide open. Austria, Switzerland, and EUA had all shown flashes of dominance, but Saalbach had its own story to tell—a German one.
Wammerl of Germany delivered a near-perfect run, slicing through the course in 1:29.706 and taking home 100 precious points. It was a defining moment, proving that the German racers had saved their best for last. Austria’s Hermaaaaan secured second place, keeping his country’s hopes alive, while Skiracing, another German contender, clinched third.
But behind the scenes, chaos unfolded. Several strong competitors suffered mishaps—European Allstar’s Pepikum20 and Amche missed the race entirely, hurting their overall standing. Lukas_F missed a gate, leaving Austria’s title hopes hanging by a thread. The Nations Cup was a brutal contest where even the smallest mistake could cost everything.
FINAL REFLECTIONS: WHO STOOD TALL?
As the dust settled, a few racers stood out as true champions. Austria’s Daaave4 and Hermaaaaan consistently delivered top performances, keeping their team in contention throughout. Switzerland’s JohnJulian shined brightest in Garmisch and remained a consistent podium finisher. Germany’s Wammerl proved to be the hero in Saalbach, sealing the deal for his team with a masterful final run.
European Allstars, had been a model of consistency, proving that their multinational lineup was a force to be reckoned with.
Though Team France and Team Italy didn’t break into the top rankings, competitors like Bastiou64 and Bovas88 fought hard to keep their teams in the game.
Every competitor left their mark on the competition, but in the end, only one question remained: Who would rise again next season? Because if this Nations Cup taught us anything, it’s that in the world of digital ski racing, nothing is ever certain— except that consistency is king.
